MASP Application Reopens for Certain Programs

Fayette County Public Schools has opened a second application window for several magnet, gifted and talented, and specialized programs (MASP) that have room for additional students in the 2026-27 school year: 

  • Biomedical Sciences Magnet Program at Frederick Douglass High – grades 9 and 10
  • Crawford Middle’s Leadership Academy for Literacies & Civic Engagement – grades 6-8
  • District’s Gifted & Talented Accelerated Program – grades 4-8 (Note: Closing at midnight on Friday, March 20)
  • Dixie Magnet Elementary -- kindergarten
  • George Washington Carver STEM Academy for Boys -- kindergarten
  • International Baccalaureate Programme at Tates Creek High School -- grades 9-11
  • Lexington Middle School, a visual and performing arts hub – grades 6-8
  • Liberal Arts Academy at Henry Clay High – grades 9 and 10
  • Maxwell Spanish Immersion Magnet Elementary – grades 2-5
  • Rise STEM Academy for Girls – grade 6
  • SCAPA Lafayette in Literary Arts or Guitar -- grades 9-11
  • STEAM Academy – grade 9
  • Teaching & Learning Magnet Program at Frederick Douglass High – grade 9
